A large demonstration of Sahrawi jobless activists on Smara Street in Laayoune is filmed close up. The video shows Moroccan authorities in helmets and heavy gear forcibly disperse the peaceful protest, by pulling them up from their seats on the ground. Aggression by police appears to intensify as the clip goes on, though it is hard to see past thick lines of armed officers. At least one person is put on a stretcher, and other activists are seen laying on the ground. Protesters chant: "I am Sahrawi... by identity and race... and impossible to remain in this situation... Peaceful, peaceful... no stone, no knife... Human rights see it, and see it well." Banners read: "coordination of Sahrawis unemployed demanding integration in employment" and "covenant. loyalty. resistance."
