In a few separate shots, the video documents police brutality against women taking part in a protest on October 25 in Laayoune. According to Equipe Media, the protest was organized by the coordinator of Sahrawi human rights associations to mark the anniversary of Morocco's invasion of Western Sahara. At :14, we can see uniformed officers approach three women, pushing one onto the ground, hitting and pushing them with force. At :29, an officer kicks the woman in the pink melfa and then hit her with his baton. The women attacked by police are never seen doing anything violent, simply standing, chanting, and raising their hands in a peace sign. At 1:16, a group of officers approaches the woman in the white and black melfa, shoves her around and forces her to walk away. At 1:40, plainclothes officers forcefully pick up the woman in pink and drag her away by the limbs.
