Unemployed activists protest the arrest of Equipe Media journalists Amidan Said and Brahim Laajail in front of the police station in Guelmim where they are being held. According to Equipe Media, on September 30 the two journalists were traveling from Laayoune to Agadir, where they are both second-year law students. Moroccan police stopped their vehicle at a checkpoint in Guelmim and took them to the police station. Said is a videographer for Equipe Media, who often films Sahrawi protests, and Laajail is an editor and producer of Equipe Media's weekly review program. The demonstrators denounce the arrest, and say "Amidan, rest, we continue the struggle. Laajail, rest, we continue the struggle." They call for their release, and say that the state is responsible for what may happens to them. UPDATE: On October 2, both men were reported released after two days of quesitoning.
