According to SPSRASD, peaceful protestors chanted slogans claiming Sahrawi people’s right to self-determination and independence, and denouncing the systematic plundering of Western Sahara’s natural resources. According to the same source, several people were injured and four arrested, including Sahrawi activist and former political prisoner, Sukaina Djed Ahlou, Sahrawi journalists Nazha Khaldi, Laroussi Andour and El Gardek Khaded.
